Frequently asked questions
Answers to the most frequent questions about the SQ hubb marketplace. For any other question, write to us through the contact form.
Who can buy and sell on SQ hubb?
SQ hubb is a B2B marketplace reserved for professionals: selling companies and professional buyers. Accounts for private individuals are not open.
What is accreditation?
Every account is created pending accreditation. You upload the documents requested at sign-up, including your company's registration certificate, which the SQ hubb team checks. Financial identity verification is carried out by Stripe, our payment provider. You are notified at each change in the status of your file.
What fees does the buyer pay?
No commission is added for the buyer. The buyer pays the listed price excluding tax, VAT where the destination requires it, and transport if they choose the transport option. The marketplace's 12% commission, at the rate shown when ordering, is withheld from the seller's payout.
How does escrow payment work?
The buyer pays for the order; the funds are captured by Stripe, our payment provider, and held outside SQ hubb's accounts. They are only released to the seller once delivery has been confirmed.
How is the seller paid?
Once the buyer has confirmed delivery, the escrow is released and the seller receives, on their payout account verified by Stripe, the price of the goods less the marketplace commission (12%, at the rate shown when ordering), withheld at that point.
What happens in case of a dispute?
A dispute is opened from the order. Until it has been arbitrated, the funds remain in escrow: nobody is paid over a disagreement.
How does delivery work?
Each listing carries its Incoterm (for example EXW or FCA), which sets what falls to the seller and to the buyer in transport. Parcels and pallets are tracked through Sendcloud, sea and multimodal freight through ShipsGo, and delivery tracking is linked to the escrow.
How do I sell an asset?
Create your seller account and upload your accreditation documents. You then publish your listings one by one from My Space, or in bulk by importing a CSV or Excel file; Janus, the marketplace's AI assistant, helps codify and complete the listings. Each listing is checked by the team before it goes online.
How can I spot AI-generated content?
In line with the European regulation on artificial intelligence, any content produced or enriched automatically carries an explicit notice: listing descriptions, normalised specifications, translations. A tooltip details what was generated and what was entered by the seller.
In which languages is the site available?
In French, English and Spanish. Listings are written by sellers in French and translated automatically; the original text can be read from each listing.
Where is my data hosted?
The platform is hosted by OVHcloud, in France. Data is hosted exclusively in the European Union.
